Argentina Menis (19 July 1948 – 3 March 2023) was a Romanian discus thrower who won silver medals at the 1972 Summer Olympics in. Munich and 1974 European Athletics Championships. She finished sixth at the 1976 Olympics.[3][4] On 23 September 1972, she set a world record that stood for eight months.[5] After retiring from competitions she worked at her club Dinamo București.[1]

Menis died on 3 March 2023, at the age of 74.[6]
