This game is dead af, it's sad ngl.. I hope the dev drop the update at some point oh smth, the remake has a LOT of potential knowing the old version, 'cause it was a MASIVE game in terms of content but at the same time so simple with the animations, and with the new mods and stuff for Koikatsu this has even more chances of becoming a banger more than it is with just a prologue.
I don't know how expansive he plans on making these different endings but the guy is already showing to take way to long to put out updates I can only imagine having to do different branches.

This was an issue even before the remake, the plans he has for the game are waay to ambitious for a 1 man dev team, especially for someone who has very little experience coding.
Unless he gets some help the updates will always take a long time to come out.

A lot of devs that boast about having tons of choices in their games fall into this rabbit hole. They go way over their heads and we've all seen projects abandoned or remade because of the overwhelming number of branches and conditions.
If he's already supposedly adding so many choices and branches this early in the game, delays are only going to get worse. He just said that depending on the decisions made here, the next update will start differently. I can't imagine how long the next update will take because of this.
I just hope he keeps the branches simple, maybe just removing a character we don't want to interact with, an extra sex event, or just simple story additions.
After playing this remake I think wasting almost 2.5 years to make a 2 hour prologue was a mistake. It looks better but not that better. What's the plan here, 3-5 more years to catch up to 0.7.3? I don't know much about game development but, bruh, realistically, what's the plan here, game will be done in 2033, or abandoned halfway in 2028?
Frankly, I think the most efficient way isn't to plan the branches but merely to build the actual foundation. Make the game initially linear with the expected "canon" ending for the 1.0. Then, he can develope the branches from that foundation and adding the conditions he wants based on that, thus making it into 1.1 to 2.0.
I've tried something similar in my own coding, and trying to remember and juggle all the paths at the same time was too much of headache.
Even so, the "branches" hardly matter if the tree itself is barely even sapling.

isnt this like yandere dev who had like bs code had legit company come in to help the code was so bad they legit left and hes just not working on his game anymore and just complaining about shit hence him mad about miside?
did the dev get bullied to re do the character models? these ones are okay but they don't feel right or like they fit this game. it's too bad. Edit: well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't care for the new models specially my nerd what did they do to her?!?!?

No one got bullied, nor the the dev got bullied. They themselves felt that the old designs feels off after learning a bit more on character crafting in Koikatsu. So to make everything "on the same standards" they remade the entire thing.
No it wasn't, before the remake he was consistently putting out massive updates every 6 months or so.
It's been what.. 2 years ? And he still hasn't completed the actual prologue that was supposed to be a single update. Everytime it ends up being "yeah no actually I only have half the scenes for this one" (scenes in question being WIP random scenes with faceless characters) and then further dividing in half the subsequent update, leading to it being a quarter of an entire one.
It's easily 4 times slower than it used to be. Which is an absolute joke because no one ever cared about the hospital or hell part anyways, the game truly got popular with the house stuff.
This whole thing is self-sabotage, redesigns that made every character worse, infinitely slower updates, refusal to make scenes for actually appreciated characters, planning thousands of them even though not a single one gets a single scene, and insisting that some faceless WIP scene is genuinely something that should've came out after a year or so of development for a game that already had massive amounts of content as a base. Lying consistently about what is done and what remains to be done too.
People who pay for this should stop if they ever want to see it progress, they're basically funding the death of the game by making infinite vacation a viable plan.

The first 2 or 3 updates yea they came out pretty fast but after that even before he started the remake people were calling him a milker because the updates were taking too long.
Well, are they wrong with calling him a milker then? I just wished something happens with this game....

whenever he state he adding something new to the game it push it back by 60 days and once the update is release 85% of what he said he added isnt even in the update.

Not saying they were wrong or right, I am just saying that the game has always been way too ambitious for a 1 man team and even before the remake he was having issues with releasing updates.
