Exactly! Captain America has taken on the greatest supervillians - only to be stopped by a mere bullet? WTF???
Maybe they are trying to make a statement about the current state of America and the issues that are happening in the world right now..

superman was killed off?! was it the bat?
Well, I was watching the news (surprisingly it was even on TV), and it said not only was he shot by the sniper bullet, he was also shot in the chest with a pistol a couple of times. I guess that would do it? :dunno:
He went head-to-head with Doomsday and 'died'..
Well died in the 'not-really' sense, more of a deep-coma... similar to the one I experienced whilst watching 'Superman Returns'.
whatever the reason he was killed off nothing can justify how Captain America could be taken down by guns, next thing you know they are going to put him on life support.
Yeah, I bet when they start making his movie, he'll magically reappear as if nothing happened at all.
