Dutch shocked at police killing of young girl

Rotterdam - A policeman has admitted killing a neighbour's 12-year-old daughter girl and burying the body in the garden of his house, Dutch prosecutors said Wednesday.

The 26-year-old man turned himself in on Tuesday evening, a week after the disappearance of Milly Boel in the southern city of Dordrecht.

In a case which has shocked the Netherlands, prosecutors could not say whether the girl had been sexually assaulted.

Neighbours interviewed on television expressed shock that after a week-long nationwide search, the young girl had been found just a few metres from her home.

Police were criticized for waiting 17 hours after the girl disappeared before raising the alarm and not concentrating enough on a search of the neighbourhood.

The mayor or Dordrecht said there were indications right from the start that the girl might have been abducted by someone from nearby.

His job is to uphold law and order but instead he has admitted killing a neighbour's 12-year-old daughter. I'm not surprised. It's a crazy world out there so be careful. :2 cents:

How ironic. They probably thought they were safe because they lived next door to a cop.

Argh!! There's a rapist in my bed!!
Call the police, & the tabloid journalists!

:nono: I meant the bed in your OLD house. ;)

It will be interesting to know what Boothbabe makes of the story. Will she think twice before calling the police?

That's impossible. My old house burnt down (bed & all) under mysterious circumstances

OPPS!!! I've been rumbled. Perhaps you better call the police. Just make sure you check their ID carefully before you let them in. ;)

I got pulled over the other day, when I gave the cop my license and registration my hand was shaking, Cop asked me if I was nervous, I said I had a natural hand tremor, which I do, but the truth is I'm afraid of anyone with authority and a gun.
Cops are just human beings and many of them are just as fucked up as the people they arrest.
I'm sure that little girl was taught that policeman were her friends, and had no problem going with the nice policeman at first.
I see teenage girls pulled over all the time by cops, and they are always very cute, so I don't buy into teenage girls being worse drivers than teenage boys.
Young girls are all ready are at a disadvantage in weight and strength against a fit adult man, then throw in legally obligate to submit to there authority.
little kids are at an even greater disadvantage they are dependent on adult authorities.
If I had a daughter and or young child I would teach them self defense and how to deal with cops.
I know it wouldn't do much but it might give them a fighting chance to get away not so seriously harmed.

Firm believer of karma. This guy is gonna have a serious fun time in prison considering he is a ex cop and the nature of his crime, The cons are gonna love him. Note the sarcasm.

She is trying to point out that all authority figures are secretly debased child killers, pederasts, and worse...and she's not.

Like most of Facial-King's "Talk" postings, there is a constant theme of "Look! Someone in authority did something Bad! See...I was right...they are evil, and I'm not!"

Obviously, anyone above the intellectual level of a snail* knows that numerically, police commit way less crimes than non police...and most police have families and kids, which makes them much better protection for young ones than their abusive parents.

*Present company excluded, of course.:D

How would you know what the facts are?

You're busy jerkin' off 50 times a day...!

You got no business being in a discussion here...so far you've never contributed any idea someone else didn't post first.

You are a troll, and do that well, I have to admit.

That is messed up, I couldn't find in the article why it took the police 17hrs to respond to this? However toss him in general populace an excop and a child murderer. Anyone want to start taking bets on how long he would have to live.
