Dotted I with acute (І́ і́; Italicized: І́ і́) is a rare character in the Cyrillic Script that is almost always found in either Ukrainian, Rusyn, and Belarusian. This character is used to represent the Cyrillic letter i with a stress accent in some languages that use the Cyrillic Script.[1]
Usage
editThe letter is usually not written with an acute accent marker, as it is usually only seen in dictionaries to display when a stressed accent is used in a word with I in some languages.
