Description
Ada Augusta Byron, only daughter of Lord Byron. She married William King in 1835. They became earl and countess of Lovelace in 1838. Ada Lovelace was an avid mathematician and is often called the first computer programmer, after she wrote an algorithm for Charles Babbage's Analytical Engine.
