English: Altunizade mosque or Zühtü Ismail Pasha Mosque is located in the district of Üşküdar of Istanbul. It dates from the Ottoman period and was built by Ismail Pasha Zühdü altunizade. The construction of the mosque began in 1865, it was opened for worship in 1866, one year later. The mosque has undergone an extensive restoration process in 2005.
The original plan was built as a mosque. Later a cemetery, a fountain and rows of shops were added.
