Grasse_sirius_002.jpg (718 × 463 pixels, file size: 57 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)
Summary
editPicture of the Steamer Sirius, a tourist boat that transversed the Grasse River and St.Lawrence River in the 1910s. It sunk on the Grasse River when the tourist on-board rushed to one side of the boat to catch a glimpse of a beaver, and caused the boat to capsize. Picture is scanned from a postcard published in 1915 and is part of my family's photo history.
