English: Two foes of Un-Americanism in conference. Washington, D.C., May 23, 1939. Martin Dies, chairman of the House Committee Investigating Un-American Activities, and Rep. J. Parnell Thomas, who recently sponsored a bill of impeachment against Secretary of Labor Perkins. Both members of the Dies Committee put their heads together for a conference about the coming testimony of Felix McWhirter.
