Object history La obra debió haber sido encargada por algún familiar devoto del artista. Perteneció a Manuela Lucientes, hija de Miguel, tío de Goya, quien la puso a la venta junto a su pareja, La Virgen del Pilar. En 1926, ambas obras fueron adquiridas por el Museo de Zaragoza.
