yes first impersions and mindet of people is the key factor in liking and disliking stuff, people dont have the hours to spend on every game trying if it fits their turn ons . my issue is that its a fantasy world and like the olden days. so moral standards are bit different from those days until now.I am someone who is very picky about what content is in my game. That being said I completely agree with you here. If you don't like the content, politely tell the Dev's what/why and move on (without the expectation of them changing their game to meet your wants as the player).
I think part of the disconnect comes from people who don't take the time to read the forum for the game but then sink several hours into the game before coming across something that really turns them away.
Hell, most players are drawing their conclusions about what's in a game from the tags/info on page 1. So what can one really expect is their (admittedly wrong and they should spend more time investigating and less whining) first impression going to be?
Look at the screenshots on page 1 for Peasants Quest here....
You have a guy with a girl, a guy with multiple girls, a guy with a giant girl, a guy with a pregnant girl, a guy carrying a goblin girl, and a few female characters by themselves... this is kind of a theme...
so poeple can have their on opinion about the game, but dislike it that a few can fuck it over for all the others because they are the most vocal about it. *yes some scenes got reworkd (one is coming) and others got warnings or are now skip-able.
secondly the dev himself didnt make the opening post, but think people need to keep that in mind aswell.Maybe the Dev's should remove the picture of 'guy carrying goblin girl' and instead had the (avoidable content) picture of the goblin tribe gangbanging the MC's new goblin wife.. Or Remove the picture of MC and the giant female and insert the (unavoidable) picture of the MC and the male giant double-teaming the priestess...
Folks who just skim page one would probably be a lot less surprised (and probably just avoid the game entirely if that isn't their thing).
so that is why the tag system need to be on point . or just ask in the topic about the tags so they know before they try.
