George Cottle, Jr. is a British-American stuntman and second unit director, most known for his work with Christopher Nolan and films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Career
editIn 2019, Cottle, Jr. got his start in second unit directing with Spider-Man: Far From Home, after previously served as stunt coordinator in previous MCU films including Ant-Man and the Wasp and Spider-Man: Homecoming and on the films of Christopher Nolan. He returned for Spider-Man: No Way Home.[1]
In 2024, he served as supervising stunt coordinator and second unit director on Deadpool and Wolverine for Shawn Levy, who allowed him into the editing room to help with the editing and direction.[2][3]
Among the other films he directed second unit on include Red Notice, Barbie, and Haunted Mansion.
