| For some reason, I find the small talk between the Ten Swords kinda entertaining. I guess it's because of the conflicting personalities of their members. Sanosuke took a huge gamble on this mission but I respect his courage. They're not showing what Ten Swords are truly capable of yet but Iwanbō is already a scary guy to deal with. |

| Aoshi is so fucking annoying man get this bum off my screen. Just needlessly making things harder for Kenshin. Take the L and accept it and move on man. It was already gonna be hard enough to take on Shishio as it is, now Kenshin gotta deal with this bum and reveal the new techniques he learned so Shishio will have time to counter them 🤦🏽♂️ Yea the fight animation is dope but it’s so damn pointless! Lmao at Hoji beating tf out of Sano with the roses just to get his ass knocked into next week 😂 😂 Nooo, please tell me the old man didn’t actually die man that was hard to watch. He literally tried to give Goichi and the other guy a chance to turn their lives around and this is how they repay him wtf!? Please tell me Misao and the others are ok.. fire is burning at the temple after that cut to black.. I’m scared Figured Kenshin would have to go all out against Aoshi playing right into Shishio’s hands. Smh. Hope this L was worth the deaths of innocent people, all for your silly pride. |

| Okay you know what new RuroKen anime, if you're going to have Aoshi and Kenshin to go at it Pirates of the Caribbean style, just have Watsuki write a pirate manga with X-men inspired samurai vs pirates and call it Swash-Swash Buckle-Buckle or something. |

| I was expecting something like this. Kenshin vs Aoshi was pretty cool, Saito vs Soujiro perhaps and I laughed so much at Sanosuke vs Houji XDD. I hope police chief survives some way. Next ep part 3. |

| Man that cliffhanger kinda cruel ngl. Fire is lit in the midst of Kyoto but when its the end scene, tension lit at the wrong time smh. I don't need blind dude faking his intention to kill those lil girl, she can't be death that fast, right? Well gotta wait more week and see if Sano manage to find the engine room, or he's gonna go to the Zoro route again. |

| Oh man the cliffhangers were brutal in this one, first we had the police chief taking on two of the Ten Swords at once so the injured men could escape, then we had those two foot soldiers of Shishio’s taking on that old cop and young fella, I really hope the old guy survived there. And of course there was also Kenshin busting out one of his ultimate attacks against Aoshi, most likely this will lead in Aoshi taking a rough blow after having the upper hand for a lot of the fight, but it sucks that Shishio will be getting a peek at one of the Kenshin’s best moves before their eventual battle, but perhaps that’ll make it more interesting when it comes. And last but not least was Misao maybe getting stabbed by Usui as a fire finally broke out in Kyoto, I doubt Misao is taking a fatal blow here but damn is it a rough way to end the episode with so many other cliffhangers alongside it, but if anything it’s just gonna make next week’s episode that much more hyped. And oh, also Houji got punched lol, poor guy doesn’t have much else going for him besides his leadership skills, and the last thing I wanted to mention is how cool Kenshin and Aoshi’s fight was, loved how it wasn’t unlike a pirate sword fight on a pirate ship lol, one of the benefits of the Rengoku being the sight of this season’s final battles. |

| A bear hidden in a sheeps clothing huh. Sano's new moves sure is allowing him to infiltrate the ship pretty easily. Kenshin's bout with Aoshi really was impressive. Things in Kyoto sure are taking a turn for the worst though. The trio of Yahiko, Kaoru and Misao sure formed quite the team. Though it would be interesting to see how they fare against Usui. |

| Very poor execution the entire episode. the fight scenes kept getting cut off to a different scene in Kyoto and for me it failed to get people really deep into either of those scenes. |

| Dumb Sanosuke is tasked with destroying the engine room with the bombs (once he finds the way, that is). Using Futae no Kiwami, he creates a shortcut whilst surrounded by the grunts. Hoji hits Sano with roses only to get knocked out in one Saitō Hajime handles the rest of the grunts on the top deck. Shishio does not interfere with Aoshi's duel with Kenshin, who is pushed to the point of exhaustion. The unstable frame effects were a good touch though I wish the it wasn't interrupted as much. In Kyōto, Kamatari and Henya have slaughtered many a police officer, Ryūsaku allows his surviving men to escape. With the aid of locals, Oniwanbanshū continue putting a stop to the grunts committing arson. The other onmitsu won't believe Ōmime and Masukami about Iwanbō until he rolls in. Megumi's temporary clinic is slowly filling with injured police and civilians like the ChU Chau girls Shishio's grunts will even desecrate holy sites which Misao won't allow. It's good to see Kaoru in action, too. One building is ablaze now, is it the work of Usui against Misao, Kaoru and Yahiko? Kenshin is left no choice but to reveal his Kuzuryuusen early in front of Shishio. |

| Sanosuke vs. Houji was jokes. Lowkey think Yumi would have lasted longer lol. Best episode of this current arc so far, and practically all of it was anime-original content! I'm just loving what they are doing with the storylines regarding the Police Chief and those two Shishio followers. Not to mention animation looked particularly crisp this time with Kenshin and Aoshi's exchanges. Really good stuff overall. |

| Hilarious how nobody cares about the ship lol. The one who did tho.. is down and out just from a single blow. Aoshi is the biggest POS, ever. Though I hope they don't conclude the fight here itself, because this in fact is orginal stuff after all. |
