And believe it or not.... this is the prosecution's star witness.
Central Florida is having a fairly infamous trial right now and the State's main witness is a 19 yr old girl from Miami. She could not read a letter she Dictated to a friend of hers that was written in cursive nor could she write in cursive. Now, point taken that otherwise, it was clearly apparent she has the mental acuity of a turnip, but still.

Putting my lawyer cap on for a moment, this thing seems rather odd just because it was in broad daylight and the guy seems to be trying to hurt the woman more than he wants valuables. Not saying the husband had anything to do with this but the cops would be well served to investigate the husband a little and to delve into their marriage to see if there are any signs of problems within the marriage. Just saying.

All the evidence shows that what Zimmerman said here is true.
So why is this man even on trial?
It's racial, in every way.
How?
He was arrested charged only after blacks demanded it and even our great divider and chief made a racial comment about it.
He was not arrested and charged based on facts or evidence, but only to give in to and appease a certain group who's only reason for wanting what they want 9 which is zimmerman in jail or dead) is based on the fact that martin was black and zimmerman isn't. That is pure unadulterated racism at its finest.
So if zimmerman is convicted not only will his life be over but all white people in the country will be in just a little more danger than they were before. Their right of self defense just a little more eroded.
Why? Because now they have to worry that if they actually defend themselves from an attack from a black person they run the risk of spending the rest of their lives in solitary protective custody in a state prison.
This incident takes the country another level lower down the shithole.
Moral of this story? If youre white, and you get attacked and need to defend your life, you better make damn sure well that the person attacking you has the same skin color as yourself before you pull that trigger or use that weapon.

there was someone screaming for help before the gunshot correct?
if it was martin then that means zimmerman was beating him then decided to shoot him too.
but evidence shows that martin had no signs at all that he was beaten but zimmerman sure did. which shows that zimmerman did take a beating from martin, without doubt.

I got locked out of my car this morning and had to walk home. While I was walking through my neighborhood I noticed this creepy ass white guy following me so I beat the shit out of him. It turns out he was just a neighborhood watch guy. I'm glad he wasn't a concealed carry.
Most would say the prosecution did not prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt and Zimmerman walks. But never underestimate the stupidity of a jury.

Naw...the chances are good he'll get a"guilty"on a manslaughter charge, and have to get off on appeal. Unless the jury finds him NG due to reasonable doubt, but that would be factual and this is an emotional trial, not likely judging on law. It could happen.

It is always to guess what a jury will do. If the state had initially sought manslaughter charges I feel certain they would have won a guilty verdict. These jurors may return a manslaughter verdict. In fact I am almost certain that they will.

I just found out that there was no Grand jury review before this went to trial.

Grand juries can indict a ham sandwich. The only time that GJ review takes placd is when the prosecution seeks it. And it was never going to happen in this case. The prosecution in the anthony trial did not seek a lesser charge conviction because they were overconfident of winning a conviction on the murder charge.
