History
editI'm a bit skeptical that ad blocking was invented in 1996. Does anyone know when the first version of the Internet Junkbuster was released? I know it was around by February 1997: Wired story. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 04:37, 5 February 2023 (UTC)
Possible COI
editI didn't think about this when initially editing, but I have a possible Conflict of Interest for this article. (I have maintained a niche ad blocker, not notable enough for a Wikipedia entry.) Most of my edits will be in the "Browser integration" section. They are mainly technical in nature, but it does not hurt to be transparent. The image under "Methods" and several references are also from me. Regards, Rjjiii (talk) 03:44, 14 October 2023 (UTC) Corrected, 03:51, 14 October 2023 (UTC)
