image of cute vox does not show
editOn my computer (IE / XP / in Korea), the image of the "cute" vox does not appear. Kdammers 09:40, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
So...
editFirst, can I delete ^^^this^^^ comment? :P Second, does anyone have ANY information on the earlier members? I tried looking for it in Korea, but was unable to do so. English fansites give conflicting info (for example, bvoices.net says that it's "hyunjin" while others say it's "hyunjung"). Third, I don't know much about pre-2002 bbvox so if anyone can add more info, that would be great. :D SKS2K6 07:36, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
- Based on what I heard from my older friends who spent more years in Korea, one of the earlier members lied about her age, so she got kicked out. Another member (or perhaps the same member that lied about her age) apparently could do real rap not some pop rap, but the lineup was changed to achieve more commercial success. 22:39, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- Umm.. the comment above was written by me but it doesn't show my username? mirageinred 22:40, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah. That was Lee Gai who lied about her age. But I have no idea who the two first album members were. :P SKS2K6 02:27, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
ThePPN link
editA few weeks back, I added an interwiki link to ThePPN in External Links. It was politely reverted a few hours later. I propose to restore it.
I think the PPN article provides additional useful information For example, in its discography section, it includes DVDs, which this article does not cover; and includes dates on all releases. It's a pretty detailed article, and even if we were to copy over the discography information, that's just one example.
It also includes photos. Wikipedia, for all its good points, really drinks the Koolaid about "free" content, to the point where fair use images are discouraged, even though their use is legal (which I find to be a significant fault: if we as a society don't assert fair use rights, they will be lost; but I digress). With the Wikipedia article, you can't even identify the members of the group, because there are no photographs.
Interestingly, the [[theppn:____]] markup is implemented as an InterWiki, not as, say, a template. What this suggests about Wikipedia's assessment of ThePPN as a resource, I don't know, but it's something that was set up by the Wikipedia administration, not by an editor.
If I don't hear any substantial objection, I'm going to put the link back.TJRC (talk) 21:19, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
- Wikipedia, as it is a wiki, is set up to allow interwikis (see here). Please note that inclusion does not necessarily mean endorsement. Also, the reason I took it out was because it failed Wikipedia's external links policy, specifically #12 (I would also argue for #1 as well). The only difference between this article and the one at theppn is the inclusion of pictures, which is a copyright violation. Please feel free to add in the list of VCDs and dates and whatnot, though. Broad coverage of the group is impressive, but they are POV and needs citations. A little cleanup would help. mirageinred 01:10, 27 October 2006 (UTC) |

Baby Vox → Baby V.O.X – "Baby V.O.X" is used in the page names of the albums linked on the page, so it seems like there should be some consistency. It also appears in a number of the page references along with other articles I found, as well on YouTube videos from official channels. Not to mention that the page itself uses "Baby V.O.X" in the introductory paragraph and infobox. Oneforfortytwo (talk) 18:05, 13 February 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose STYLISM, so move the albums instead, they are only stubs. Running Times - Nov 2006 - Page 51 "The young Korean is part of the girl band, Baby Vox, a pop sensation. "She's kind of like the Asian Britney Spears," a guy from Singapore explained to me. Rounding out the celebrities was scientist Alan Coleman, who also ran the 10K" --- I know it's not a K-pop source but it shows you how a band 베이비복스 pronounced "babybox" in Korean ought to be written in en.Wikipedia. It isn't Baby Vee-Oh-Eks. There's no acronym here. In ictu oculi (talk) 22:13, 13 February 2021 (UTC)
