In the original movie "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" the character Veruca Salt sings a song stating that, along with other things, she wants a bean feast. It may refer to a party with sweets and other treats, but with no celebration references like a birthday

Sam tapps (talk) 17:19, 23 September 2008 (UTC) This is clearly written by someone trying to show how witty and oh so extraordinary they can be. It must be removed as it has no factual base and not one citation. Sam tapps (talk) 17:19, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
I've added a definition from Merriam Webster along with a citation - that should resolve Sam's objection. Accordingly removed single-source notice as well. Mreed911 (talk) 18:17, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
Is it named after a kind of goose or is it named after a bean in a cake? One of the origins should be excised. Or if there is a dispute about the origin, then it should be noted. Bugloaf (talk) 14:41, 23 February 2021 (UTC)
