Is "chamei" one word or two?

edit

The article contains the text "Chamei (茶名, tea name) is a Japanese word that refers both to the name given to a particular blend of tea (usually matcha) and to the ceremonial name bestowed on an advanced practitioner of Japanese tea ceremony." Perhaps there are two different words, 茶銘 (the name of the blend of tea) and 茶名 (the name of the practitioner)? I don't know, but it's worth looking into. Fg2 01:50, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

"chamei"

edit

when it refers to the name of a blend of tea is written 茶銘. This distinction has now been made clear on the "chamei" page itself. tksb —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tksb (talkcontribs) 11:37, 18 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Can someone add something about the distinction between the 2 in names of tea blends? 75.156.6.118 (talk) 07:07, 17 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
