I'm pleased to see this, which I stumbled across when I was about to create it. Thanks, Jack Cluster! Its not easy to find sources for this; there's a fairly complete (but not independent) history here.
I'm slightly bothered by the page title, which gets no hits at all on Gbooks or Scholar (not that those are particularly reliable measures of anything), even if "cavia" is changed to the more usual "cavy". I do see that the EE itself sometimes uses it, but don't see that anyone else does very much. It seems to be most often called the "Entente Européenne d'Aviculture et de Cuniculture", in English, German, Dutch and Italian as well as (obviously) French. That name gets a handful of hits in English-language sources on Scholar. Enough to consider moving the page? I don't know. Thoughts? Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 18:41, 30 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, Dthomsen8, that seems to be one of several possible translations of "Association Européenne pour l'Elevage de Volailles, de Pigeons, d'Oiseaux, de Lapins et de Cobayes". The hitch is that that long mouthful of French is not the name of the organisation, but a sort of subtitle, as seen here, for example, where it is given in German, French and English below the actual name, which is "Entente Européenne d'Aviculture et de Cuniculture" – usually abbreviated to "Entente Européenne" or EE. I suggest that we move this page to that title. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 20:02, 6 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
