• This is in pretty good shape.
• Image appropriately licensed. Are there any other PD photos available? Or a plan?
  • Unfortunately not. There seems to be a paucity of images of this class.
• In the infobox, the ship's name is Sardonyx; The HMS is a prefix and doesn't belong in that field
  • Fixed.
• Suggestion only; in the interest of shortening the infobox, delete manufacturers like Brown-Curtiss when the name links only to the company like Parsons. Yarrow boiler is a counter-example since that links to that company's boiler designs.
  • I understand what you mean. Maybe we need an article on the Curtis turbine.
    • We do, but I don't know enough about them to make an attempt
• Abbreviate anti-aircraft gun and pounder in the infobox and delete nicknames like pom-pom

• Do you know how many depth charge racks were fitted initially? Any how many depth charges could she carry? Similarly how many could she carry after her conversion to an escort destroyer?

• Details for her WW2 service only seem to hit the highlights. Can you tell the reader what she was doing in between them more explicitly? And when she was under refit or repair?
  • From what I can tell, during WW2 Sardonyx was simply a convoy escort. The sources I have give very little systematic data so it feels more like gleaning.
    • The new edition of Rohwer has quarterly lists of which ships are assigned to which escort groups which could help fill out her service, not that that does you much good right now. Convoyweb has a lot more convoys which the ship escorted. Go the the Hague Convoy Database page and then search for the ship's name. I'd suggest summarizing them; the website lists convoy destinations and dates so you can group them together and roughly track the ship's movements.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 04:02, 25 June 2022 (UTC)
      • Thank you. I found the 2005 edition of Rohwer online[[1]] which has proved helpful. I have also searched through Convoyweb and it seems that the destroyer escorted 62 convoys, but most for no more than a day or two either at the beginning or end of their journeys (depending on whether they were outbound or inbound). I have rewritten the section with summaries of the convoys for each year and selected details on those that seemed more interesting.
