Good work, the article is very detailed and the read is easy, the source are reliable! There is some not very important error like for example in the line "In conclusion..." in the biogeochemical part, and I suggest removing it because is not the end of a text. There are some issues about the copyright of image. The image of "Oil degrading microbial communities and ecological successions" is covered by copyright. About the images of degradation pathways (reference n°7) is not really cleary if the scheme are covered by copyright, be careful. --Microgigi (talk) 10:29, 27 December 2021 (UTC)

The only criticism I have is that in scientific papers there should be no personal opinion, and they should be written impersonally, so without any 'if we consider'
