Talk:Magaliesberg

Latest comment: 6 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

A search engine search on Michaelis Magaliesberg turns up nothing (except for this article!), and not surprisingly the source of this Michaelis is not cited in the article. The name Mogale was linked to the range in the times of the old policital regime in South Africa, as it is now. I've never heard any researcher (or political camp for that matter) vouching for Michaelis.

The Michaelis story is completely unsubstantiated and very poor journalism. Moreover, the area is traditionally inhabited by Tswana (not Sotho) people.
