Honey And Thyme
editThanks. But whatever H&T's story is, these articles should be notable in their own right. I believe they are not--that's just my opinion, which is not based on any affiliation to H&T (though I am a great fan of honey and of thyme, especially when coupled with a rack of lamb). Thanks again for your note, Drmies (talk) 02:56, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
striking my comments
edithey if nobody objects would it be ok if i struck my comments on the majority of this page? they're lengthy, distracting and offtopic and i don't really care about most of the points i raised anymore. also if all that's ok, i'll wipe this section too. Cumulus Clouds (talk) 03:37, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- You can always strike your own comments, at any time. I'd recommend though that you leave this section as a record of your decision to do so. Franamax (talk) 05:42, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- And by "strike" I assume you mean to use the strike-through feature. Franamax (talk) 05:45, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- If all the other parties agree to it, we can just eliminate any of the arguments above involving (primarily) you, me, BQZip01 and MichaelQSchmidt. That way this page can serve as a functional talk page and not a monument to past disputes. Cumulus Clouds (talk) 05:47, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- No, I mean to redact completely. Cumulus Clouds (talk) 05:47, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- I find this a helpful and constant reminder of my own learning processes. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 06:50, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- Cumulus, can you copy and do a mock-up in a sandbox? My own contributions here amount to this thread. It seems to come down mostly to you, BQ and MQS. I agree that large parts of the discussion are not related to the article and would be better consigned to an archive or removed - but you would need to get their agreement, removing only your own edits just wouldn't work, since the threads are back-and-forth. Maybe though you could propose a scaled-down version that would contain only the "improving the article" bits. Franamax (talk) 07:09, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- I have myself moved the whole kit and kaboodle to storage so I may always have a reminder of my beginnings on Wiki... the good and the bad. If an Admin can move the page's history to the sandbox as well, so that it will never be thought I modified any of the contents after it was stored, and if BQ is amenable, I would then be agreeable to having a neutral Admin remove such portions of the discussions as he/she deemed irrelevent to the talk page. With respects CC, it might be best if someone independent of the page does the removal, as we all have too much "history" here. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 08:00, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
- OK, well, I'm in no rush, so I can wait until whenever that happens. Thanks, Cumulus Clouds (talk) 15:38, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Cumulus Clouds, just archive all the old stuff, lengthy, distracting and offtopic posts included. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 09:49, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
