- Patriarchate of Antioch (disambiguation) → Patriarchate of Antioch
- Patriarchate of Alexandria (disambiguation) → Patriarchate of Alexandria
– Per WP:CONSISTENCY with Patriarchate of Jerusalem disambiguation page. Cf. that Patriarchate of Constantinople (disambiguation) needs to retain disambiguation because of WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT to Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, whereas Patriarchate of Rome doesn't need any disambiguator page at all. - Support as less confusing for the reader. Srnec (talk) 00:41, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose. The primary topic for this page is Patriarch of Antioch. This edit removed that definition from the lead sentence and I have undone it. This edit (now undone) retargeted the redirect Patriarchate of Antioch to Patriarchate of Antioch (disambiguation) creating two problems: a WP:MALPLACED disambiguation page, and a very large number of wikilinks pointing to a disambiguation page creating an
{{incoming links}}
template. It was better as it was. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 17:26, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
- Do you mean that Patriarch of Antioch should be WP:PRIMARYREDIRECTted to Patriarchate of Antioch, or that Patriarchate of Antioch (disambiguation) should be merged into Patriarch of Antioch? PPEMES (talk) 22:41, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
- The status quo. Patriarch of Antioch redirects to Patriarchate of Antioch (and similarly Alexandria). Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 06:58, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
- If so, why retain a page "-ate (dis.)"? PPEMES (talk) 07:40, 15 August 2019 (UTC)

- Oppose. Pages are consistently titled; base names are used appropriately, and disambiguation pages for titles with primary topics have the appropriate qualifier and those for titles without primary topics don't. No indication of the incorrectness of the current primary topics is given. -- JHunterJ (talk) 13:52, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
- Comment. Fair enough, Should this request fail, per Wp:consistency, Patriarchate of Jerusalem should be moved to Patriarchate of Jerusalem (disambiguation) again. PPEMES (talk) 17:47, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
- There is no requirement in WP:CONSISTENCY (or anywhere else) that if "X of Y" has no primary topic then "X of Z" cannot have a primary topic. The primary topic of each title is address by the criteria of WP:PRIMARYTOPIC applied to the topics that are ambiguous for the individual title. See also Statue of Liberty (disambiguation) but Statue of Margaret Thatcher. -- JHunterJ (talk) 00:55, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
