I changed the citation. You can check that now. I made more independent and foreign citation. So that good view of the issue can be taken.Edward Zigma (talk) 12:32, 19 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Gråbergs Gråa Sång. I want to add an image for this article. Help needed. Edward Zigma (talk) 10:05, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

I not sure you can, as things are, but I haven't looked deeply at the issue. Note that an article does not have to have a leadimage, sometimes the better option is to leave it out. None of the other articles at Category:Lynching deaths in India have one, probably because it's not easy to find any that are in line with WP:s strict policies on copyright. What could theoretically work is if someone (like a friend or familymember) who took a picture of Ansari at some point uploaded it themselves at Commons, but that may never happen.
Another possibility is to use something arguing WP:FAIRUSE, like at Stoning of Aisha Ibrahim Duhulow, but those rules are even stricter, and I'm not the right editor to give good advice on if that's a good idea. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 10:38, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

1) In the event section, his uncle accusing the police of neglect and not providing doctor in jail is portrayed as a fact but which is actually an accusation as can be seen from the source cited from a newspaper article(ref no 7), which may not have been verified. Change requested is: Use the words "his uncle accused". 2) The same article also says that tabrez and two others were caught by the landlord when they tried to break into his house and were then apprehended and also three youth were accused of bike theft, two of Tabrez's friends escaped and he was caught. Include this information as well, based on reference number 7. Why this information is suppressed? Tasmin Sati (talk) 13:16, 21 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Kautilya3 (talk) 11:39, 22 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Tabrez Ansari lynching2019 Jharkhand mob lynchingWP:CONSISTENT with the titles of similar topics as 2015 Dadri mob lynching, 2016 Jharkhand mob lynching, 2017 Alwar mob lynching etc. All these incidents are titled after the location where the incident took place, not after the victim. For example the lynching of Mohammad Akhlaq is titled 2015 Dadri mob lynching and lynching of Pehlu Khan is titled 2017 Alwar mob lynching. Same should be applied here. Per Category:Lynching deaths in India this is reasonable.Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 15:26, 25 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Requesting move

The earlier name was based on the name in which this case was reported by almost all media houses. You can check that yourself by searching "Tabrez Ansari". Can we please rollback to its original name in which it was reported? Thank you.Edward Zigma (talk) 19:47, 19 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

I Agree. This incident was widely reported and none of them used Jharkhand Mob Lynching as a name to report this. I have moved the page back to the original location Tabrez Ansari lynching --Walrus Ji (talk) 15:48, 7 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
