editI'll look into the rules for deletion. In the meantime, could you tell me what I can do to make it NOT "read like spam"? To me, the club is historical and viable for inclusion in Wikipedia; in addition, it is still currently active in the preservation and restoration of historical properties. kelliejojo (talk) 14:13, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- The article's main flaw is its lack of independent, reliable sources to establish the club's notability. Concerning the spam part: Lines like "Our club..." obviously don't belong in an encyclopedia. And "Members work in friendship and harmony"? The club works "tirelessly"? Inappropriate tone, I'd say. That could be solved by a lot of editing if notability can be established, though.
- If you disagree with the proposed deletion, you can just remove the prod template. If it remains in place for five days, an admin will delete the article. But if it's removed and no independent sources are added, I'll probably nominate the article for deletion via the more complicated articles for deletion process.Huon (talk) 14:34, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
