Hello! I'm Anne, but you can call me ChocolateAvian (the color and descriptor of some Helmeted guineafowls). I joined Wikipedia around two and a half years ago, as a frequent reader, and began to edit articles in early-February of 2023. When it comes to editing, I mainly edit articles that discuss LGBT/queer topics, but I don't have a specific mission to edit or contribute to articles of a certain topic, although I do hope to be more involved. I spend much more time reading on Wikipedia than editing, I find the site to be very comprehensive. Overall, I want to make this site better whenever I can.

Interest-wise, I like to believe I am diverse. A large portion of my interest goes to American history (see infobox for more specifics), although political science, linguistics and aviation take up a lot of my thoughts. As a transfemme individual, I do hold LGBT topics close to me, and defend LGBT rights whenever rational. Along with my defense of LGBT rights, I value civil and women's rights as an integral part of a diverse and well-functioning society. I am not a very actively-political person, nor do I like political labels as they can become messy and hyper-niche, but my values and beliefs tend to fall in a more progressive, liberal category. I possess some level of social and general anxiety, worrying mainly about my personality and character, tending to be more reserved when it comes to being social.

The following is a list of things I am currently doing:

  • Surviving personal stuggles
  • Listening to more albums and slowly gaining a vinyl collection
  • Feeling more free to express my gender identity after a breakup

This section will find use some day.
