Adamantine123 is my username on Wikipedia. I am more interested in creating new articles here. I joined the encyclopedia in 2020 and untill now, i have done a lot of work in Bihar related articles. I have also contributed a lot in Indian History and Politics related articles. I have pursued Master of Arts in History ( I am a holder of UGC–NET Junior Research Fellowship). My journey on Wiki hasn't remained smooth, as i was attacked several times by editors who had their own conflict of interest in caste related articles. I wrote many of them from scratch and believed in maintaining neutral point of view. I also believe that History remains authentic, when it is free from personal biases and prejudices, as believed by the great Al Biruni and Kalhana.

The beloved of the gods, king Piyadasi, has caused this dhamma edict to be written. Here (in my domain) no living beings are to be slaughtered or offered in sacrifice. Nor should festivals be held, for the beloved of the gods, king Piyadasi, sees much to object to in such festivals, although there are some festivals that the beloved of the gods, king Piyadasi, does approve of.

Formerly, in the kitchen of the beloved of the gods, king Piyadasi, hundreds of thousands of animals were killed every day to make curry. But now with the writing of this dhamma edict only three creatures, two peacocks and a deer are killed, and the deer not always. And in time, not even these three creatures will be killed.
