Your recent edit to Hillary Rodham Clinton

edit

I noticed that in your recent edit to HIllary Rodham Clinton, you referred to Wasted Time R's edits as "vandalism". They are not vandalism, and it is considerered extremely uncivil to call people vandals. Please see Wikipedia:Vandalism for a definition of what vandalism really is. Lil Wayne

edit

I noticed you changed Lil Wayne's birth year from 1979 to 1982 - this is incorrect, as the following document proves: http://www.fultonsheriff.org/Jail/individual.asp?bookingnumber=0629395. Besides, it's against federal law to drop out at age 13.

thanks, - Rhickey1986

Alright, sorry about that. It keeps being changed and I assumed it was you.

Removal of negative material from Rudy Giuliani article

edit

In the thread at Talk:Rudy Giuliani#Proposal to make the Controversies Section its own page, you were one of those who commented in opposition to the suggestion. By my count (including opinions later expressed elsewhere), this wholesale deletion of information from the main article is supported by three editors and opposed by six.

Nevertheless, the three keep trying to implement their proposed deletion. You can read a lengthy discussion at Talk:Rudy Giuliani#NPOV tag. I've reverted the deletion three times already today, as well as spending a lot of time trying to explain to them why their approach contravenes Wikipedia guidelines, but the edit war continues. I'm calling the situation to the attention of the other editors who chimed in earlier, in the hope that the matter can be resolved on the Rudy Giuliani page without resort to dispute resolution. Thanks for any help you can give. JamesMLane t c 05:02, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Controversies

edit

Beware, I restored the waterboarding section to Controversies of Rudy Giuliani article. But, I'm sure that the Rudy partisans will gut it. Dogru144 18:34, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Edgar Allan Poe's literary influence

edit

Hi Zchris87v. You are off to such a great start on the article Edgar Allan Poe's literary influence that it may qualify to appear on Wikipedia's Main Page under the Did you know... section. The Main Page gets about 4,000,000 hits per day and appearing on the Main Page may help bring publicity and assistance to the article. However, there is a five day from article creation window for Did you know... nominations. Before five days pass from the date the article was created and if you haven't already done so, please consider nominating the article to appear on the Main Page by posting a nomination at Did you know suggestions. If you do nominate the article for DYK, please cross out the article name on the "Good" articles proposed by bot list. Also, don't forget to keep checking back at Did you know suggestions for comments regarding your nomination. Again, great job on the article. -- Jreferee (Talk) 17:07, 27 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi Zchris87v, I am new to Wikipedia and have just posted my first article, 10.5" Corporate 14 Bolt Differential. Mustang

edit

There is nothing wrong with my edits other then two other individuals who don't agree. No one has referenced any specific policies. All I've heard is people's opinions about it. There are also many pictures of the 99-2004 mustang in the article. So if you want me to stop I suggest you remove those redundant pics and be consistant in your views. Uploading of Image Twin.jpg

edit

Hi, You left me a message: "In uploading of your image Twin.jpg, you replaced the existing image of the Twin Cam System provided for the Binary cam article. If possible, could you correct this by uploading the original Twin.jpg image, if you have it? Zchris87v 04:10, 2 October 2008 (UTC)"Reply

I'm sorry, I do not know what you are referring to. I have not uploaded an image called Twin.jpg. Sorry. Marek69 (talk) 15:56, 2 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm very sorry, I've just realised what happened. It was my mistake. Please accept my apologies. Marek --Marek69 (talk) 18:23, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Carolina-Clemson Blood Drive

edit

I was wondering when someone would get around to adding this interesting aspect of the rivalry to the article. Wasn't there a long period of time where the school that won the blood drive, won the football game? Or maybe my memory is failing me in my old age. The annual Sigma Nu Gameball Run between Williams-Brice and Memorial Stadiums is also another interesting sideline. Something that neither school should be particularly thrilled with was the artificial addition of a rather cheap-looking trophy by a fast-food chain (is it known as the Carl Jr. Trophy out West?). I once read that some alumni from each school wanted to contribute money to have a proper trophy made in the shape of a silver Palmetto tree which would aid to further solidify the game in the public eye as the "Battle for the Palmetto State," but I don't know what happened to those plans.
