Darlo Rocks (Radio Station)

Not sure why this page was deleted as it describes a new type of radio station that has an open door policy to bands and musicians to have their music aired via internet radio and to have their local gigs reviewed and publicised. —Philo694 (talk) 05:49, 30 June 2018 (UTC)

Not done - this page was deleted in accordance with criterion for speedy deletion A7. If you believe that this decision was made in error, or that significant new information has come to light since the deletion, please contact the administrator who carried out the deletion, user JzG (talk · contribs). If you have already done so, your concerns can be taken to deletion review. AustralianRupert (talk) 06:04, 30 June 2018 (UTC)

  •   Not done – this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sid Nelson (basketball), it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, user MBisanz (talk · contribs). After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review. Hut 8.5 07:37, 30 June 2018 (UTC)

  •   Done – as a draft or Articles for creation submission deleted under CSD G13, the page has been restored upon request. Drafts and Articles for creation are not for the indefinite hosting of material found to be unsuitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. I restored Draft:7 Seconds: A Typical Teenager, Atypical Life, But I think this is not a suitable topic for an article. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 09:36, 30 June 2018 (UTC)

Homestead Air Reserve Base

All other pages for US Air Reserve Bases exist, and there was plenty of information in the page that was compliant with Wikipedia's terms. In addition, it seems out of place for such a significant article to be deleted without a trace of it remaining. —Cocodog98 (talk) 23:28, 26 June 2018 (UTC)

@Cocodog98: You're going to have to talk to the deleting admin Buckshot06 (talk · contribs) about that. The deleted article is well put together with many contributors, but apparently it was rife with copyright violations added over a long period, as far as I can tell. ~Anachronist (talk) 23:55, 26 June 2018 (UTC)
This article was part of a large-scale copyright violation of offline sources by now-departed user Bwmoll3. See User_talk:Bwmoll3#Copyright_concerns and Wikipedia:Contributor copyright investigations/20130819, as per the deletion summary. All content will have to be rewritten from scratch to avoid potential copyright legal liability. Other USAF articles on that list of thousands of articles may be deleted at any time; many other USAF base articles have been deleted. Buckshot06 (talk) 00:47, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
I have had this issue before in relation to Vietnam War air bases and raised it at Milhist here: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Military history/Archive 145#Potential deletion of USAF/RAF pages.CCI Policy states that Accepted cases will lead to a contributor survey... If contributors have been shown to have a history of extensive copyright violation, it may be assumed without further evidence that all of their major contributions are copyright violations, and they may be removed indiscriminately, in accordance with Wikipedia:Copyright violations. When such indiscriminate removal may be controversial or cause considerable collateral damage, an effort will be made to assemble a volunteer force sufficient to evaluate problematic contributions. If insufficient volunteers are available to manage clean-up, presumptive wholesale removal may be the only choice As the indiscriminate removal apparently caused considerable collateral damage as it apparently was "well put together with many contributors" was an effort... made to assemble a volunteer force sufficient to evaluate problematic contributions in relation to Homestead Air Base? Mztourist (talk) 10:28, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
@Buckshot06: Bwmoll3 didn't actually start that article, his first edits to it were made in December 2006, at which point it was nearly a year old. Would you be OK with restoring the edit history prior to that point? There is some information there which isn't in the recreated version. Hut 8.5 21:11, 27 June 2018 (UTC)
@Cocodog98: I have restored the early non-copyvio history, including two edits by the blocked user that just inserted a photo and an infobox. You may want to retrieve them from the history. I have also restored the infoboxes and lead images from the deleted history. There were several other photos in the article also. I have restored them as a gallery in the article. Prune as you see fit. Hope that helps. ~Anachronist (talk) 15:49, 28 June 2018 (UTC)
Seems this has been fixed before I've been able to return to it. Endorse Anachronist's actions, thankyou. I do note that even the note in the edit box in this page specifically rules out copyright violations being undeleted. Buckshot06 (talk) 17:43, 29 June 2018 (UTC)
@Buckshot06: Can the bibiliography also be restored as well so that expansion is made easier? Kges1901 (talk) 11:13, 30 June 2018 (UTC)
I'll do so, but I doubt there's any Homestead-specific items, just the boilerplate books Bwmoll3 copied out of right across Stateside USAF bases. Buckshot06 (talk) 11:17, 30 June 2018 (UTC)

List of Kappa Alpha Order chapters

Note: The page was deleted as a result of a deletion debate. Admins will not undelete pages that were deleted with discussion here; go to WP:Deletion review or contact the administrator that closed the deletion debate instead. Continue discussing it with them and the deleting administrator. If those talks peter out, WP:Deletion review is going to be your next port of call. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 19:27, 28 June 2018 (UTC)
Jéské Couriano I contacted the administrator who closed the AFD before I came here and he said that he didn't do that and suggested that I come here. See User_talk:Naraht#List_of_Kappa_Alpha_Order_chapters .Naraht (talk) 15:10, 29 June 2018 (UTC)
Until Sandstein clarifies what he expects to happen when he refers someone to this page, we won't overturn an AFD decision. I've pinged him on your talk page. ~Anachronist (talk) 17:55, 29 June 2018 (UTC)
@Naraht:   Done. Now that Sandstein has responded, I have restored the article to Draft:List of Kappa Alpha Order chapters. Don't move it back to main space until the problems identified in the AFD have been unquestionably addressed. ~Anachronist (talk) 17:48, 30 June 2018 (UTC)
@Anachronist: Given that the the primary deletion reason was WP:NOTDIRECTORY #7 , I await Sandstein letting me know exactly what he thinks would improve it to the point where it isn't a directory any more. I never got that information specifically.Naraht (talk) 01:29, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
@Naraht: That isn't how it works. Please understand that an admin doesn't close an AFD and delete the article because he agrees with deletion. He does it because there was a consensus (even a small one) of deletion arguments grounded in Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Sanstein likely doesn't have an opinion. I suggest you query others who participated in the AFD. ~Anachronist (talk) 06:59, 1 July 2018 (UTC)

Tim Bjorkman is the Democratic candidate for South Dakota’s lone seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. The election is set for Nov. 6. He has been the subject of countless media reports and is a very active candidate for Congress. In addition, he served as a Circuit Court judge for more than a decade. Carlos Diego D'Andrea

I am asking for assistance to restore the page Carlos Diego D'Andrea that was deleted via a deletion debate with only one participant other than the nominator. SM-signature (talk) 05:35, 5 July 2018 (UTC)

@Sunshine-Moonlight: first the templated response:
Not done – this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/, it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, user Carlo Diego D'Andrea (talk · contribs). After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review.
Now my response:
You really need to ask the deleting admin about this, since it wasn't closed as soft-delete, we can't restore it by request here. You might ask that it be restored to draft space.
Bear in mind that there were three involved: the nominator, the person who commented, and the admin. The delete comment was sufficiently detailed and well-argued that, had I seen that AfD, I would have considered it strong enough to close as delete. You will likely need to rebut the points given in that discussion before the article can be restored. ~Anachronist (talk) 07:05, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
Update: I notice you already have a copy of the article in your sandbox, so there is no need to restore it to draft space. I suggest getting a third party review at WP:AFC. ~Anachronist (talk) 07:09, 5 July 2018 (UTC)

Done – as a draft that was deleted under CSD G13, the page has been restored upon request. However, the draft namespace, though it is intended to provide some breathing room to create and develop a page without the time pressure of immediate review, is not for the indefinite hosting of material that is unsuitable for inclusion in the article mainspace. Please continue to work on the draft so that it meets Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for inclusion and then submit it for review—at the least, prior to another six months elapsing. @Sandstein: You deleted this. Any objection to draftifying? ~Anachronist (talk) 05:18, 29 June 2018 (UTC)
I'd like to record stuff into the article, like this June 22 13-WMAZ news station coverage. I think Sandstein who deleted this has chosen not to answer. Perhaps they didn't want to get into a thing about it, given a disagreement about a different AFD which is being discussed elsewhere (and a factor in me asking here rather than asking them to do me a favor). Anyhow I am an experienced editor and I, not anyone else, would be accountable about moving it to mainspace when it is substantially different than the version AFDd. Given that it was deleted, I would tend to be conservative about doing so. But this is getting ridiculous to withhold access to the content from me or anyone else. --Doncram (talk) 22:03, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
Administrator Sandstein states here, about a different request, that they do not do refunds themself, and they refer requestors to wp:REFUND. --Doncram (talk) 19:19, 6 July 2018 (UTC)
I am still interested in receiving the article. --Doncram (talk) 16:30, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
Thanks! Just in time, too... the park has now opened, so CHRYSTALLBALL complaint goes away, and there may be sufficient coverage for it to be mainspaced now or soon. --Doncram (talk) 01:00, 10 July 2018 (UTC)

Amanda Scarborough

This article was deleted back in 2009 by NuclearWarfare for these reasons:

...non-notable college athlete, fails WP:ATHLETE, not competed at the highest level, no reliable sources to show notability.

If this article were about the former softball player turned ESPN broadcaster Amanda Scarborough, that rationale is incorrect, because Scarborough has won National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American awards twice during her college career [1]. Additionally, the Big 12 Conference, a major NCAA Division I athletic conference, named her its Softball Player of the Year in 2005 [2]. Those awards alone should be enough for Scarborough to meet WP:NCOLLATH.

After graduating from college, Scarborough went on to be a softball game commentator for ESPN [3] and has gotten outside media attention for her work there [4] [5] [6]. Even if she had not won those softball awards, her broadcasting career should be enough to meet WP:GNG.

I attempted to request undeletion directly with NuclearWarfare, but that user has not responded. —Arbor to SJ (talk) 04:32, 10 July 2018 (UTC)

@Graeme Bartlett: Draft:Survive the Nights (video game) this one is not created by a banned user can you revive this abandoned article? I will work with it, thanks in advance. 49.148.166.172 (talk) 10:39, 10 July 2018 (UTC)

Hereditarnia

Hereditarnia is a word with interesting origins and interpretation that represents a scientific community lasting for more than 20 years. It is worth to create an encyplopedic item for it. It is not an advertisement because the community and the research topic is non-profit. The item existed for many years and was visited by a number of readers that provided positive feedback. The aim of wikipedia is to promote and spread knowledge. —Gsem ke (talk) 07:11, 9 July 2018 (UTC)

This was not deleted as an advert, but for no claim of importance as an organisation. For this kind of delete, you should ask the admin user: Randykitty who deleted it. Perhaps it could be made into a draft until you find independent references to show the topic is notable. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 15:16, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
It was tagged as A7 by Drmies and as I agreed with that assessment, I deleted it accordingly. I even thought this might be some joke, as the article start with saying that the word cannot be found in any dictionary. Anyway, if independent references exist (in the deleted version there's absolutely nothing), I wouldn't mind at all if someone would draftify this. --Randykitty (talk) 16:49, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
The argumentation concerning missing relevant sources is very non-professional and incorrect. At least the following reference Hereditarnia was provided. It is an article published in serious scientific journal indexed in many databases. You can suggest to change the text because it is, in your opinion, similar to webpage. However the argumentation must be professional and correct. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gsem ke (talkcontribs) 22:50, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
Not done. The article as it stood is not appropriate for main article space, neither in tone (which was promotional), nor in significance (no credible claim of importance was given). I suggest you start over in draft space and submit the article for review via WP:AFC. ~Anachronist (talk) 16:58, 10 July 2018 (UTC)

Pangea

This page had some deleted revisions (both redirects and non-redirects) that forgot to be restored. Talk:Pangea also had some deleted revisions that should be restored as well. —GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 04:04, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

I suggest that you consult the restoreing admin user:Graham87, as 6 revisions were restored, it looks deliberately. The deleted stuff includes lots of redirects, some vandalism, and advert as well as quite a bit of disambiguation pages. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 15:00, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
Done, both the article and talk page. Indeed, I simply forgot to restore the relevant revisions. @GeoffreyT2000:, thanks for bringing this here, but next time please notify me directly ... you'd have gotten a much quicker response that way. Thanks @Graeme Bartlett: for the ping. Graham87 16:09, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

Not done. This is a recreation of the deleted article Sher Khan (soldier), which was deleted as a result of a discussion Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sher Khan (soldier), and is therefore ineligible for restoration by request. File:Mariko Silver Portrait 2014.jpg

Hello, the page Mariko Silver Portrait 2014.jpg was incorrectly nominated for speedy deletion and deleted under the claim that it was an unambiguous copyright violation, however I got the image from the owner's flickr page where it is labeled as public domain and thus should be fine. The user who nominated it for deletion admitted the error on my talk page hereEMuller1 (talk) 16:38, 12 July 2018 (UTC)

Thank you for the response @Hut 8.5:, however on the talk page of the admin who deleted it, @Fastily:, it says do not post regarding a deletion... What should I do here? I am new to wiki and not sure how this works, if you can't revert the delete can I just post it again? I very clearly showed the public domain flickr source when I first posted it and still it was deleted incorrectly. Thanks! EMuller1 (talk) 17:41, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
@EMuller1: that's an interesting practice, admins are supposed to respond promptly to questions about their admin actions and justify them if necessary. We aren't supposed to restore pages deleted as copyright violations through this process though. Your best bet is probably deletion review. You are supposed to ask the deleting admin first but if the deleting admin doesn't want to be asked about deletions then you can skip that. Getting the deletion overturned would be preferable to uploading the file again. Hut 8.5 18:16, 12 July 2018 (UTC)
Already doneFastily restored and moved it to File:Mariko Silver Portrait 2014 1.jpg. Fastily is saying he is busy in real life. Since he says to use REFUND, assume that the outcome from here will be undisputed. Since you reuploaded it to commons, that is actually a more suitable place anyway.   Note: This page was deleted under speedy deletion criterion G11, indicating an page that was irredeemably promotional or blatant advertising. Note that G11 deletions are more an issue with the tone of the page as opposed to its sources or formatting. As articles deleted under G11 need to be rewritten from scratch, they will not be undeleted as-is here; try contacting the deleting administrator (Jimfbleak (talk · contribs)). Alternatively, you may request the page be restored as a draft or to have the contents of its last known revision emailed to you provided you have email enabled in your account's preferences. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 16:42, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
