The 2025 CFL season will feature a new head coach for the Lions after Rick Campbell was fired on November 20, 2024, following four seasons with the team.[1] This will also be the first season with Ryan Rigmaiden as the team's general manager with Neil McEvoy being promoted to vice-president of football operations.[1]

editThe 2025 CFL draft is scheduled to take place in the spring of 2025.[2] The Lions are scheduled to have seven selections in the eight-round draft. Not including traded picks of forfeitures, the team will select fourth in each round of the draft after finishing sixth in the 2024 league standings.[3]
