Blythe is a city, mostly in Richmond County and partly in Burke County,[4] in the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 744. It is part of the Augusta, Georgia metropolitan area.

editBlythe is located at 33°17′41″N 82°12′2″W / 33.29472°N 82.20056°W (33.294858, -82.200623).[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.8 square miles (7.3 km2), of which, 2.8 square miles (7.3 km2) of it is land and 0.35% of it is water.

As of the 2020 United States census, there were 744 people, 224 households, and 160 families residing in the city.
In 2024 the Blythe population by county breakdown was as follows: 694 in Richmond County and 27 in Burke County.[8] In another count that year, the Richmond County population was same while the Burke County population was 50.[9]
Education
editThe majority of the city, in Richmond County, is in the Richmond County School System.[10] Blythe Elementary School is in Blythe and is under that district.[11]
The portion in Burke County is in the Burke County School District.[12] Burke County Middle School is the district's middle school, and Burke County High School is the comprehensive high school of that district.
