Deutsche Post is a brand of the DHL Group[4] (listed as "Deutsche Post AG"[5][4]), used for its domestic mail services in Germany.[2] The services offered under the brand are those of a traditional mail service, making the brand the successor of the former state-owned mail monopoly, Deutsche Bundespost. As of 2008,[update] the monopoly for Deutsche Post on these services has expired.

editAs of 2024[update], the following services are offered under the brand by DHL Group's Post & Parcel Germany[1] (Post & Paket Deutschland[3]) division:
- Mail Communication[2] handles the domestic mail service (except parcels).
- Press Services handles domestic distribution of print products (newspapers and magazines).
- Retail Outlets[2] operates domestic retail outlets (post offices), which offer letter mail, parcel and Postbank services.
- Dialogue Marketing[2] provides services for direct marketing such as market research and address verification.
Other services by the division, such as DHL Parcel[1] (DHL Paket[3]), use the DHL brand.
