Angelina Banović-Markovska (PhD in Science, literary theorist and essayist). She is a full professor at the Blaže Koneski Faculty of Philology at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia[1] as well as avisiting professor at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Department of Cultural Studies at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Croatia.

Banović-Markovska is the author of the following books: Discourse and Excourse on Literature and Culture, Skopje, 2017; Politics. Culture. Identity: Intercultural dialogue (co-authored with Zlatko Kramarić)[2], Skopje, 2012/Osijek-Zagreb, 2013; Group Portrait: Essays in cultural studies and literary theory, Skopje, 2007; Hypertextual Dialogues: Intertextuality and the 20th century in South-Slavic literature, Skopje, 2004; Characters-Antagonists, Skopje, 2001; Interpretative Strategies: Essays in critical theory, Skopje, 1999.
