Jeremy Kleiner (born 1976/1977)[1] is an American film producer. He and his fellow producers won two Academy Awards for Best Picture for the 2013 film 12 Years a Slave and the 2016 film Moonlight.[2] Since 2013 he has served as the Co-President of Plan B Entertainment serving with Dede Gardner.[3]

Early life and education
editKleiner was born to a Jewish family[1] and is a 1998 graduate of Harvard University, where he won the Detur Book Prize, the Hoopes Prize and was elected Phi Beta Kappa.[4][5][6][7]
Career
editKleiner worked as creative executive at Dick and Lauren Shuler Donner's company. In 2003, he joined Plan B Entertainment where he worked his way up from creative executive to producer and then co-president in 2013.[8]
