Junaid Memon (born Zunaid Memon) is an Indian film producer and director. He is the founder of Nomad Films Ltd., which produces feature films, commercials, and documentaries. He founded the non-profits ARDEA Foundation and Green TV India, to promote sustainable agriculture among Indian farmers.

Career
editIn 1997, Zunaid founded Nomad Films Ltd., a production company based in Mumbai. His work spans feature films, TV commercials, agriculture advocacy and documentaries. Notable projects include the feature filmThe Film (2005)[1] and Marathi productions like "Anolkhi Hey Ghar Maze" (2009) and "Upside Down (2012).[2][3] Memon also produced the Tamil feature "Naan Aval Adhu" and the Punjabi film "Yaar Mera Rab Warga."
Environmental Initiatives
editZunaid's commitment to environmental issues led him to establish the ARDEA Foundation, a nonprofit organization.[4] in 2013. The foundation focuses on promoting sustainable agricultural practices and rural development in India. In 2014, he launched Green TV India,the country's first private agricultural TV channel aimed at disseminating knowledge and best practices to farmers and rural communities [5][6] The group works to disseminate agricultural information to benefit rural communities.[7]
The ARDEA Foundation has initiated various projects, including the "11 Days For Earth’s Healing" campaign, which aims to raise environmental awareness and promote ecological conservation globally. Zunaid's vision is to leverage his background in media and communication to foster a deeper connection between people and the environment [8]
Working in collaboration with Green TV India, the foundation works to promote sustainable agricultural practices in India, to contributed to rural development.
The group works to disseminate agricultural information to benefit rural communities.[9]
