Reception
editThis movie was well received by Sivaji fans and was a commercial success despite the many films release the actor had in the year 1973. Sivaji was looking slim and the onscreen romantic chemistry between the lead pair was fresh and remarkable in this intense love story film. "Agaya Pandhalile" song of this film became a super hit and was played often in the famous thenkinnam and neyarviruppam tamil songs radio programmes of the 1970s.
