Sindang Jaya is a town and an administrative district located in the Tangerang Regency of Banten Province on Java, Indonesia. It covers an area of 41.39 km2, and had a population of 77,025 at the 2010 Census[2] and 91,170 at the 2020 Census;[3] the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 95,575 - comprising 48,620 males and 46,955 females.[1] The district centre is located at Sindang Asih.

History
editSindang Jaya was previously part of the areas of Pasarkemis and Rajeg before it was split off from the western and southern parts of these districts, respectively in 2006.
