Stefan Figueiredo Pereira (Chinese: 史提芬彭利拿; born 16 April 1988) is a professional footballer who currently plays as a forward for Hong Kong Premier League club Southern. Born in Brazil, he plays for the Hong Kong national football team.

Club career
editOn 1 January 2015, Pereira signed for Olimpic Sarajevo.[2] Through the very last days of January to the beginning of April he scored a total of seven goals in seven matches, counting two friendly matches,[3][4] two in the cup[5] and three in the domestic league as well as five assists; three in two league matches and two in the cup.[6][7][8][9]
On 17 July 2017, Pereira was officially announced as a Lee Man player during the club's first ever training session.[10] It was revealed on 10 April 2018, that his contract with Lee Man would be extended for the 2018–19 season.[11]
On 29 May 2019, Pereira announced his departure from Lee Man via social media.[12]
In the new season, Pereira signed with Rangers and he was immediately loaned to Citizen. On 23 January 2020, after spending half of the season in the Hong Kong First Division, Pereira was called back by Rangers and returned to the HKPL.[13]
On 6 June 2020, Southern announced the signing of Pereira.[14]
International career
editOn 12 December 2023, it was announced that Pereira had received his HKSAR passport after giving up his Brazilian passport, making him eligible to represent Hong Kong internationally.[15] He was then subsequently called up for the local training camp in preparation of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup. On 26 December 2023, he was named in Hong Kong's final squad for the Asian Cup.[16]
On 1 January 2024, Pereira made his international debut for Hong Kong in a friendly match against China.
