Questions
editWas the race ran on aggregate time, or was it a complete restart? And why (officially) was Grouillard disqualified for his mechanics working on the car between starts, when Boutsen was reinstated for the same offence?--MartinUK (talk) 21:35, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- According to Autocourse the race result was the aggregate of 2 parts: 3 laps and 55 laps. Regarding the disqualifications, Autocourse indicates that Williams and Dallara expressed fears about their drivers (Boutsen and Caffi respectively) having to restart with flat tyres and were directed into the pitlane to change the tyres by Roland Bruynserade, the official starter and were told "it would be OK" as long as they started from the pitlane, whereas Ligier just fixed Grouillard's car on the grid, without asking anyone. So I guess that was the difference. DH85868993 (talk) 10:16, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
Reference blunder
editI'm shocking at references but if someone could correct that reference to the correct format, then thank you in advance. Spa-Franks (talk) 19:15, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
