High importance?
editIn the scope of understanding the 2000 year history of the Catholic Church, and the modern universal church, I don't feel that Cardinal Dulles is a subject that meets the criteria of a High-importance article. From the project's assessment page, High-priority topics and needed subtopics of "key" articles, often with a broad scope; needed to complement any general understanding of the field. While Cardinal Dulles is an influencial modern theologian, his impact on Catholicism is no where near the others in the "high-priority" range, such as Thomas Aquinas and Augustine of Hippo, or even the mid-priority articles on Lawrence of Brindisi and Peter Chrysologus, all Doctors of the Church. I'd rate Cardinal Dulles as Low, maybe Mid-importance. Gentgeen 01:24, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Place of Birth
editThe biography box says he was born in New York City, but the actual article says he was born in Auburn, west of Syracuse (about a 300-mile difference). Which is correct? --Paploo (talk) 07:30, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
The New York Times obituary says Auburn. www.nytimes.com/2008/12/13/us/13dulles.html SHJohnson (talk) 19:50, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
- As does his faculty bio: http://www.fordham.edu/dulles/Bio.shtml Gimmetrow 00:41, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
Styles
editThe "styles" template has the wrong template. He isn't a bishop, so he has a different coat of arms. Adelbrecht (talk) 21:10, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
InfoBox titling
editThe InfoBox styles him as "His Eminence the Most Reverend Lord" (emphasis added) - 'the Most Reverend' is inaccurate inasmuch as he was never elevated to the episcopacy and 'Lord' would have been an inaccurate usage even if he had been a bishop. I've removed the phrase Irish Melkite (talk) 15:57, 3 November 2013 (UTC)
Relationship with his Father?
editIs there anything out there on his relationship with his father - the former secretary of State? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.183.129.55 (talk) 21:48, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
