Needs information on Aztec technology, sanitation, bathing habits, roads and aqueducts
editThere seems to be a lack of information on the Aztecs, such as their architecture, roads, personal hygiene and sanitation , habits, etc. There still is alot of work that needs to be done. 68.62.155.13 (talk) 00:56, 22 July 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, but apart from architecture, the roads, personal hygiene, sanitation, bathing habits, and aqueducts, what have the Aztecs ever done for us??? I agree, the article needs a lot of work and a lot of updated scholarship. Comparatively, the Aztecs article is much cleaner, and a good place to start could just be to cannibalize some of their content. I tried to resist, really! SamuelRiv (talk) 00:48, 23 July 2022 (UTC)

Source missing for third/fourth paragraph
editWhere's the source backing the claim that the Aztec's had a monistic pantheistic religion? 2600:4040:9370:9600:FD8A:913A:6C48:44BE (talk) 14:36, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
Poor grammar and confusing language in "Mythological Nature Rulers"
editIt doesn't look like I can edit or flag the article, but there is clear need for improvement. Worst example:
> Mictlantecuhtli, god of the Underworld (Mictlan). He is extremely skeleton with bonus horror bits; particularly his exposed liver which dangles cheekily from his chest cavity.
Unnecessary emphasizing words like extremely and bonus, using skeleton as an adjective, an incorrectly used semicolon and odd language overall. It also goes into more detail about the deity than other entries. It is not the only entry in the list with issues, however it is the worst one and should probably be edited as soon as possible. - I’ve fixed this section up, the strange grammar should be gone now. Rhiz0id4 (talk) 00:28, 3 May 2024 (UTC)

Change grammar for: "Coyolxauhqui killed after she tried kill her mother disc, sacrifice paving in the courtyard on the south side, Huēyi Teōcalli ruins." Should probably be "tried to kill her mother", and I believe the disc/disk part is talking about the actual artifact in the ruins? JamTheMaster (talk) 13:48, 7 November 2024 (UTC)
- I removed the entire sentence and replaced it with "Templo Mayor in 2007" because that's the only text attached to the image. The original caption was a mess anyway! RegentsPark (comment) 23:46, 7 November 2024 (UTC)
