Their Name is a French Word

edit

Their name may have derived from the French word “Be’Geule,” meaning “open throat,” referring to their distinctive baying or howling vocalizations while on the hunt. Find out at https://canine4u.com/beagle/ BR252 (talk) 18:25, 12 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Olde English Pocket Beagles

edit

Pocket Beagles need their own page. They are not recognized by the AKC because they have their own registry. This doesn't mean they aren't real B beagles. Pocket beagles are defined as pure bred beagles that do not exceed 11" in height and weight under 20lbs 206.55.104.19 (talk) 21:14, 21 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Size variety of breeds rarely have enough independent notability for their own article, especially when they're not recognised as a distinct breed. Traumnovelle (talk) 07:31, 22 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
