Phantom energy
editThe article should mention that matter with w < -1 is phantom energy as opposed to a cosmological constant or quintessence, and link to phantom energy (I haven't done myself this because there isn't yet a page on phantom energy, and I don't know enough about it to write one) --Jomel 22:47, 13 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Big Rip vs. big rip
editI have renamed it back to the capitalized version. By similar reasoning to Big Crunch, Google shows that most references use the capitalized version, because the context is usually referring to a one-time hypothetical future event (the Big Rip) rather than a generic term (a big rip). -- Curps 20:34, 7 Mar 2005 (UTC)

How can observable space shrink if the speed of light is not additive?
editI apologize if I posted this in the wrong place. This is my first time posting. I created this account because this has confused me. I may however be incorrect in my understanding of the speed of light. I did not however believe the speed of light was additive or in other words I did not believe the speed at which light travels to be added to the speed of the emitter. However, if my understanding of this theory is correct, this is how I visualize it:
2 Spaceships with no speed relative to space, start off accelerating in opposite directions at the same rate. For the sake of the question, lets assume these spaceships communicate with one another by beaming data at each other by way of laser beam. As the 2 craft accelerate and move farther apart, communications would take longer and the frequency of light emitted would have to be increased in a proportion 2x the speed of the ship for it to be read by the other ship as the same light frequency. However, assuming this is not an issue and that the speed of light is additive, the 2 ships would in theory lose contact and be ripped apart when they both arrived at half the speed of light. This is since the rate of expansion between them has reached the speed of light and the laser can not catch up to the other ship.
Here is my problem, the speed of light in my understanding is not like the speed of a tennis ball from a 50 MPH launcher. If you put the launcher angled backwards on a truck drove straight forward 50 MPH, the ball not counting any other factors should just fall straight down and have no speed. If you shot it forwards in the same scenario it should fly forward at 100 MPH. The speed of light is not like this. It is not relative to the emitter and would be not impacted by the speed of the ship it is emitted from. The Earth is moving around the sun and the sun around the Galaxy and the Galaxy off away in some direction. But if you could find that speed of no speed relative to space(where our spaceships departed from), then wouldn't you observe all light passing regardless of direction at the same speed? Therefore shouldn't the ships only loose contact and shouldn't this theory only hold true, if matter is expanding and moving at or faster than the speed of light and the ships are propelled at or faster than the speed of light?
Perhaps I'm just misunderstanding, but can somebody tell me where I am wrong. I'm only a teenager, but I'm very curious.

Big Rip Bang not Well mentioned on the main article
editThe prefered state of the Universe, is to be empty, because virtual particles demand less energy and allow a higher level of Universal homogeneity. Matter is an anomaly of space itself. By studying the Higgs field energy graph, we can extrapolate that graph to a "wilczekian grid field of everything", all other fields are it's (higher) harmonics. Most stable matter occured during the Big Bang, due to humongous amounts of energy. Dark Matter, sucks energy from the matter inside a galaxy, it is a Hawking radiation extrapolation [100% same types]. While dark matter sucks energy [or innate time flow (same thing) of the particles of the dark matter region] from a Galaxy, it (dark energy) tries - due to entropy - to restore Universal homogeneity, during that (dark matter) process though, "hot spots" of less entropy do exist, because gravitational groups tend to prefer "entropic order". "Entropic order" means "homogeneity prevails" but not immediately. The gravitational group seems to hold tight, but as an exchange loses energy in the form of "innate flow of time".
Wilczekian Noise
editEmpty space is not empty. It's full of chromodynamic noise or quantum noise or the Wilczekian field. Empty parts of the Universe are filled with normal noise or normally arranged noise or normally distributed noise (there are no forced patterns-no directivity). Matter is looping noise. Gravity is elongated chromodynamic noise, that seeks a lower energy overall arrangement, in order the gravitational group consumes less space and thus less energy. Dark matter is like the ripples of a pool. Some chromodynamic noise patches become elongated and others compressed, not only the observed surfaces cause the gravitational effect, but the overall dark matter regions. Dark matter is NOT something different from the rest of space. All the pool we call Universe is full of water/Wilczekian noise, simply only some parts of the Universal pond are wavy, that doesn't mean water exists only in the wave. "Wavy chromodynamic noise" or "dark matter", means that the noise of the void at the specific regions (we observe the phenomenon) has become non-omnidirectional thus exhibits three-dimensional (3D) directionality (not totally polarized directionality, because the "wilczekian grid" of the dark matter - chromodynamic noise has to be parallel to the shape of the "dark matter" region).
Dark energy is way more fundamental. Dark enegy is one with space-time itself. If you let alone space with no galaxies at all, it (space-time) instantaneously explodes faster than the speed of light in the void. (I use the term "lightspeed" or "light-speed", it is acceptable in dictionaries, it means many things, I mean "faster than the speed of light in the void")
Dark energy in a huge volume of space with nothing inside causes Big Bangs. But, Big Bangs after that Big Rip, generate a huge amount of matter.
Nowadays many afar galaxies are relativistically diverging faster than the speed of light in the void. In the future, when "dark energy" will prevail, each single point of the Universe will diverge from itself (it will rip apart it's viscera). That will not be a "relativistic light-speed divergion" but an "absolute/fundamental/ubiquitous light-speed divergion" phenomenon of each Universal point.
That explosion (Big Bang) will transform energy into matter, thus the acceleration will be reduced after a while. Note 1: Huge amounts of energy, generate new particles. Note 2. Particles are non-omnidirectional phenomena of the chromodynamic noise (wilczekian grid), and decelerate the affects of "dark energy"
Dark energy due to entropy always prevails at last, and a new circle of creation begins.
Brief that up, but we have to mention what the "wilczekian grid" brought as a result in the past, even with less words.
