who cut down the trees?
editAs I wrote the first time I modified this passage, I am applying the same standard as we apply when palestinian terroists carry out terrorism but are not caught. For example, if you check out 2011 Jerusalem bus stop bombing, until september 2001 when people were arrested, it said the perpetrators were "unknown". The same standard should be used here. Wrong Burin!
editWith this edit back in January 2014, User:Croatgoat introduced this Hadashot Arkheologiyot (Ha Ark) article about a place called Khirbat Burin into the article.
Now, just check the Conder and Kitchener 1882:178 -ref: it gives as grid Jn.....while *this* Burin, on p. 162 has grid MO.
Anyone can check for themselves: * SWP map XI has two different places, both named "Burin". The Ha Ark-article is about the *other* Burin (west of Tulkaram, north of Qalansuwa).
Hence the Guerin-ref (originally in Guerin#1875_Samarie_2 chapter 65, also refers to that place. (I haven´t checked Pierre Jacotin, but assume it is the same there)
One can of course also check the grid.no given in the Ha Ark-article.
Hence; I have removed the article, Cheers, Huldra (talk) 06:57, 6 May 2014 (UTC)

The Pal.rem site's 1922 numbers....
edit...are totally wrong. They give only 201(!) inhabitants, Huldra (talk) 23:39, 22 February 2019 (UTC)
