editThis page needs some work, to iron out things like "a speech fluent in elegance and truth about the surrounding, many times quotidian, world, with a fluidity of thought" (whatever that means). And is "rancid" being used with an understanding of what the word actually means? Chris k 02:09, 1 April 2006 (UTC) (187.127.107.184 (talk) 00:13, 11 March 2011 (UTC)) Copyright...
Drummond?
editI wonder if the Portuguese Drummond family is related to the Scottish one? --195.137.93.171 (talk) 23:33, 27 August 2016 (UTC)

"Communist?"
editI have no opinion as to whether or not it's appropriate to include Drummond de Andrade within categories like "Brazilian communists," but there is some evidence that he was a CP member at one time. For example:
"Moderates, including Mário de Andrade and Rodrigo Melo Franco de Andrade, and future Communist Party members, including Oscar Niemeyer, Carlos Drummond de Andrade, and Cândido Portinari, accepted employment or commissions..."
