An informative and clear article! Having images may be especially useful for this topic. There are more than one instance where kanji is used (eg. 字幕君 and 高能预警). I think if they are in different languages, it may be nice to have some indication of that. Siewyeng (talk) 02:28, 12 April 2021 (UTC)

Danmu and Danmaku are both about the same subject (barrage-style video comments), but one is titled in Mandarin and one is titled in Japanese. Unfortunately, there is no commonly accepted English term for danmu/danmaku. However, I think the term "danmu" is a better title: "danmu" specifically refers to barrage-style video comments, while (in English) the Japanese term "danmaku" is ambiguous with the bullet hell video game genre (note prior to my edit just now, the article Danmu even inadvertently linked to Danmaku in reference to the video game genre).
Danmaku should then probably be replaced with a disambiguation page for Danmu + Bullet hell. Though since in English "danmaku" more prevalently refers to the "bullet hell" meaning, it could redirect there with a Template:Redirect header (to Danmu) at the target. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kainino (talk • contribs) 21:04, 5 November 2021 (UTC)
- Since it originated in Japan, it may be a better idea to move the current article to Danmaku (Internet term) or something similar and then make the resulting article a disambiguation, then redirect danmu here.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 07:23, 13 November 2021 (UTC)
