Fair use rationale for Image:Traithlon.jpg
editImage:Traithlon.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Name
editI hate to mention it (especially given all the fixing that was done to correct for the C&P move) but I suspect the name of this article should probably be Delroy Garrett - this formulation seems unnecessarily complicated, especially as he has also been called Triathlon in the past. I had a look at Talk:Delroy Garrett and saw no discussion on the possibility of moving this. Thoughts? (Emperor (talk) 15:49, 17 May 2008 (UTC))
- You're right (and I'm kicking myself that I missed the talk page in fixing the mess and the older codename). The move was predicated on a "Theis is the current in-univers situation" bold move done by an editor who has a history od not quite getting how to move pages. I'm tempted to 1) move it back, and 2) relocate the 'box image. The 3-D costume is "new this week" the Triathalon one is the "iconic" for the character making up the bulk of it's existance. - J Greb (talk) 16:03, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
- Move it back to Delroy Garett. Brian Boru is awesome (talk) 22:59, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
- I've moved it (as it was also not meeting Comic Project naming guidelines either). As the other talk page was never moved/merged it meant this couldn't be moved either. No big deal, as the discussion here was on how to fix the mess made by the move. (Emperor (talk) 15:00, 19 May 2008 (UTC))
- This really should be merged with 3D-Man. Not only is the origin of the character related to 3D-Man but that's also his name now. It creates a problem when considering the creators. I added that he is based on a Thomas/Craig character because as 3D-Man he is but this is not so clear if the topic is Delroy Garrett. --Leocomix (talk) 16:37, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
As an answer to the unnamed editor that asks if Marvel Premiere states whether Delroy Garrett was based on those issues: No. Marvel Premiere 35-37 by Roy Thomas and Jim Craig established the current costume and powers of Delroy Garrett even if Garrett wasn't in those issues. It's the same situation as with all legacy heroes (Robin, Flash, Green Lantern). The creation of Tim Hunter as Robin is obviously based on the Robin created by Bob Kane. In otehr words while Triathlon is the sole creation of Busiek and Perez, Delroy Garrett as 3D-Man owes its creation for a big part to the original creators of 3D-Man. --Leocomix (talk) 08:17, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

editNo one said he killed Crusader. He possesses the cosmic cube fragment and its power was being used as he was dying. Didn't Professor X get shot through the head a while agao and disappeared and he is alive. Timmyfitz161 (talk) 20:24, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
