Assessment
editUnbalanced at present. needs more info on land use, infrastructure, environment. and images and more references. Anlace 05:44, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
What kind of images? I can take pictures when I go home for winter break. Mgius 02:12, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- City Hall is usually a good start; notable designated markers or landmarks would be another; try to maintain a neutral POV with your shots (no one in picture and showing the better city aspects). Ronbo76 06:24, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
I added numerous references and source citations since most of the article was previously unsourced. I also added information about the Dixon May Fair, Dixon Tribune, Milk Farm Restaurant, and updated the outdated census and city council information. I've requested a few photos of things the article talks about if anyone close to or living in Dixon wants to photograph them for Wikimedia Commons. --Kiddo27 (talk) 21:58, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
City???
editDixon is a city? By what standards? - Aditya Kabir 03:39, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, it is.Ronbo76 06:24, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
Dixon Downs
editThis is a heated issue in Dixon, and I just removed a link to an anti-Dixon Downs blog from the links section that didn't reference anything.. I plan to write a section on Dixon Downs when I get the chance. Mgius 00:54, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Schools?
editAre private schools supposed to be listed? I'm adding the Dixon Montessori Charter school because it's listed on dixonusd.org, but I'm not sure the Neighborhood Christian should be listed because it is private. Mgius 04:20, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- Just because the school is a private school doesn't mean it shouldn't be listed. Just note that in the article. Wikipedia is not biased nor censored. Killiondude (talk) 19:19, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
Trains
editThere is no reference to the fact that two railroad companies used to operate in dixon. That needs to be done. —Preceding unsigned comment added by StephenHjellum13 (talk • contribs) 17:03, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
