Neutrality

edit

The Liebowitz/Oberholzer-Gee & Strumpf debate on file-sharing is not presented in a neutral way: Characterising a researcher as "industry-funded" and nothing else and his research as not peer-reviewed while leaving out all other information is tendentious. Liebovitz did publish a peer-reviewed article in which he criticized the work by Oberholzer-Gee & Strumpf: Stan J. Liebowitz (2008), "Testing File-Sharing’s Impact", Management Science. Furthermore, should Oberholzer-Gee's involvement in the Bruno Frey self-plagiarism scandal be covered? [1] [2] [3] Zingophalitis (talk) 01:03, 17 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sorry some of the above is simply incorrect. The Liebowitz article listed here does not criticize the Obherholzer and Strumph paper, but rather it uses other other data to look at a similar question. And the Liebowitz articles in the main page are also tendentious with several unsubstantiated assertions about the authors' motives. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.136.24.69 (talk) 07:00, 29 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Either a full coverage of the controversy is stated neutrally or the paragraph will be boldly deleted in 48 hours. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dryfee (talkcontribs) 17:44, 31 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
